Design research

User profiles and scenarios represent a ‘reality check’ for designers and stakeholders

By talking with people in structured interviews and seeing what they do, you will identify groups of users who have different needs (user observation and task analysis).

You can then develop descriptions of typical users within these groups and stories about their situation, their characteristic patterns of activity and their goals (user profiles and scenarios).

These design tools provide a reference to see that the product being developed will meet real user needs. We can help you make design research a corporate capability.
